NTSC? That's being phased out... Without HD support, you're going to be
obsolete by the time you hit the market...

HAVE MERCY ON YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! =(

I'm writing this on linux which I have been struggeling to maintain for
the last three years. I spend about 6 hours per week just keeping it in
    working order.

Linux gives nothing but pain and anguish to anyone who is not
comfortable with a command line C compiler... It _STILL_ has gross
deficiencies in terms of basic usability and performance to Windows 3.11
and it's multimedia support still lags far behind even Windows 95.

Linux supports exactly one program: vi. (it runs other programs too but
with the level of support falling off exponentially as the level of
usability approaches where DOS was 10 years ago...)

If you aren't sufficiently brain-dammaged to enjoy using vi then you
    really should not use linux.

If you want to see how an OS is _REALLY_ made, provide me with a simple,
fully documented machine with a versitile and equally well documented
    compiler and compiler tools. =\

I'd be glad to help so long as the hardware is, at basis, OS-agnostic.
