I am planing to design a smallest(15cm*8cm) open
source computer called PacketServer .
It can be used to be PC(connect to large LCD or CRT
display),
or MP3 on bus(connect another little),
or PDA on meeting(add a
touch screen),
or embbeded system(connect A/D card),
or mobile
telephone(need be developed by me)...........
Since it is so small,there are only USB,1394,DVI
interface .No PS/2,VGA,IDE,LPT....
PowerPC750FX(800Mhz~1GHz)+ GPU(such as ATI7500)+SDRAM
or DDR
It must be a lower power and silent fanless
devices.
USB Harddisk<-> System 1394
PORT
Keyboard<-> System USB
PORT
Mouse<->
System USB PORT
wireless network-> System USB PORT
Audio<->very
small converter board<->System 1394 PORT
..........all peripheral connected by USB or 1394
port.
