    Hello!

We used Insight's PCI development board with Spartan2 -5 150k. The thing is,
that our CRT controller was really small and I don't know how much space IDE
controller would take to implement. I was thinking of this same sample
application ( PCI - IDE ), but I didn't get around to do it. I would suggest
though, that you buy a board with bigger chip. Maybe you should contact
developers of IDE core, to find out how many slices it takes to implement,
add PCI slices and see, how big a chip you need.

Let us know, hot it goes!

    Regards,
    Miha Dolenc
