Subject: [oc] help needed: possible multi Gbps Viterbi Decoder on Virtex 5?
Hi everyone,

I am just starting on an FPGA project which seems building a Viterbi
Decoder with throughput over 1Gbps is necessary. If the "Ultimate"
Xilinx Virtex 5 FPGA is used, is there any chance to build such Viterbi
decoder in it?

Xilinx offers its own core for viterbi decoder but from the datasheet I
have seen max. throughput up to 313 Mbps which is too low for my
application, so I really need some advice here.
