    Subject: [oc] SIR-only IrDA decoder?
    Top
    Hi,

Has anyone here had any experience with the SIR-only IrDA wrapper?

I've had no luck at all with the IrDA decoder module. From what I can
tell looking at the source, the receiving clock will drift wrt the
sending clock, without any re-synchronisation on the incoming bitstream.

And that certainly explains what I'm seeing in Real Life(tm).

I've replaced the module with my own - it had to be modified to handle
2us pulses at 9600 baud anyway - and it appears fully operational.

Just wondering if anyone else here had similar problems?

    Regards,
