Subject: [oc] Simply RISC S1 Core
Hi,
I've just posted the full announcement about the release of
the S1 Core on the proper mailing-list announce@o....
Basically it's a derived version of Sun's OpenSPARC T1 to add
a Wishbone interface, so that it can be easily connected to
other OC cores; obviously everything is GPL'ed.
The design has already been posted on http://www.srisc.com
and http://s1.sunsource.net , I wanted to publish it also
in the OpenCores.org repository but after the canonical
one week I'm still waiting for the project administrator
password (could someone help please?...).
We have chosen the 0.1 version number because there are
still some problems that require further investigation
(like some assertion errors with Icarus that do not occur
with VCS) and we hope that with the help of the community we
can obtain better results: if you can, please give it a look.
