Subject: [oc] Anyone Sucessful in Running Altera's Software on Wine/Linux

Folk:

I just tried to run the Altera free CPLD programming software on
Wine/Linux. They say their own Linux version is non-free, so I
am forced to use the Windows only free version. I could not get
it to run on Wine. When it tries to get the MAC adress in order
to register itself it hangs.

Anyone with any idea on how to break through that? If this is
not a good forum to ask this, can anyone recommend somewhere
else?
