    That would be really great about switching to SVN.

    Nice thing about it is, that for a CVS user it is easy to switch to it:

    cvs checkout ---> svn checkout
    cvs commit ---> svn commit

    For most commands, just replace cvs by svn.

    Concerning the web interface, SVN can actually be setup as a WebDAV
    extension to Apache, but personally I think that is more administration
    work than just to run it as a standalone server.

    I saw on the opencores.org page you use CVSweb, which unfortunately does
    not seem to support svn.

    There are other tools, like ViewCV, formerly ViewCVS, that supports
    both, CVS and SVN. More information about it can be found here:
