Subject: Re: [oc] Problems with AX8 and Xilinx XST
hm,
the core synthesis OK with XST !
but as of my understanding it is non functional, due to problems
in the core.
have you tried to run complex AVR programs as tests and do
they execute OK?
maybe I am wrong (and the core is OK).
I made quick test for all AVR cores, and none of them is OK :(
but maybe I wasnt doing good job testing.
http://www.graphord.com/forum
there is some review of AVR cores, correct me if some of the
info is wrong
the AX8 (if I remember correctly) has some problem with
register ram fetches, and cant function correctly AS IS.
I looked at tried to fix quickly, failed and postponed that attempt.
