Subject: [oc] pci core on fpga
    Top

    Hi everyone

As I am now tuning the pci controller on the fpga, i face some of these
    problems:

Everytime when we boot the machine , the PC will read the
configuration register on the pci device , then do some operation like ,
read the vendor ID and Device ID, assign the memory size and address
    to the device.......
Can i know these kind of operation ( PCI) is done by the bios or by the
OS? If by the bios , where do the bios store the information of the all
the PCI device ? Do the bios have right to write the ram before the start
    of OS ?

    Thx a lot
